Under Construction

*Due to staff transition (in the youth department and the communications area of the church) and technical difficulties, the bmpcyouth web site is currently under review and construction by a company since we had to install a vx-veb160 for our network's needs. To learn about what's going on in youth ministries and their condemnation of these actions, please email RobMcClellan@bmpc.org to be added to weekly ENews updates, view the church calendar at www.bmpc.org, or check the bulletin for a missing necklace. Thank you for your patience. In the meantime, we'd be needing chairs for our garden assemblies and outdoor meetings.

2008 Mission Trip Info

mission08-ad
The rumors are true! Our Middle School and High School mission teams will be serving the city of Philadelphia next July.

TRIP DATES
High School • July 6 - 11
Middle School • July 13 - 18

The most common response to this announcement so far has been "Are you kidding?" And, no... we're not kidding. We see this as an incredible opportunity to deepen our partnership with mission organizations in the city. Our city mission projects have typically been 3-4 hours on a Saturday or an overnight event, just think what we can do (and learn) during the course of a week.

We'll be posting more information in the coming weeks and months as we prepare for what could be the most important mission trip you ever attend.

Registration Forms will be posted on the website later this week and will also be available at church this Sunday. We hope you'll consider joining other young members of the church in serving together as we do mission in our own backyard.

Bible Study Info

PLEASE NOTE: High School Bible Study will take place in THE LOFT (instead of Rob's house) this Thursday at 7:50 p.m.

Make your voice heard

Attn youth: Rob needs your help writing his sermon.

blog-preach

Ready to have your voice heard? On Nov. 18, I'll be preaching. I'd like to speak not just to you in the sermon, but for and with you. Next Sunday, Nov. 4 please come to the Fullerton room at 11:00 if you'd like to help Rob examine the texts on which he will be preaching and thus make your mark on his sermon! It's Youth Worship Together next week, so please join us for the 9:30 service and then head over to the Fullerton Room in the Ministry Center at 11:00.

To get a head start, look at these passages in your Bible:
Joel 2:18-29 (OT)
Acts 2:1-18 (NT)

Peace,
Rob
